Dublin City PPN are collaborating with the Dublin City Volunteer Centre to
offer free training to PPN members on Volunteer Management, Committee
Skills and how to run effective meetings. This training will be held on
Saturday 11th November from 9.30-3pm in the Woodquay Venue.
The morning session will be on Volunteer Management and will be
delivered by Edwina Dewart and Frances Hayden from the Dublin City
Volunteer Centre. This 2-hour, fun, interactive workshop is aimed at
groups setting out on the path of engaging volunteers. It will help groups
understand the best ways to involve volunteers, understand volunteer
expectations and start on a path to ensuring volunteers become a core
and positive part of your group.
The afternoon session will focus on Committee skills and how your group
can run effective meetings. This session will be delivered by Adrienne
Collins from the Carmichael Centre. Participants will pick up useful tips
and hints to make your meetings more effective.
Lunch will be provided!
