This autumn, we are very excited to invite Dublin City and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown PPN members to a series of online support training, presented and delivered by Carmichael.
Thursday 05 October, 12.00pm – 2.00pm
PowerPoint for beginners. This is an introduction to PowerPoint session, for beginners and people who haven’t used their skills for sometime. Perfect for those who are getting back into a voluntary or community group and might need to do a presentation soon. There will be time for questions and answers during the two hour session.
Thursday 12 October, 12.00pm – 2.00pm
PowerPoint (info graphics) advanced. This session is a little bit more complicated, but beginners are more than welcome. This session would be useful for people who want to make their presentations a little more exciting to look at.
Thursday 19 October, 12.00pm – 2.00pm
WordPress (1) Setting up a domain, hosting and the building blocks of WordPress. This session is aimed at those new to WordPress, who are thinking about using this site for their group or organisation.
Thursday 26 October, 12.00pm – 2.00pm
WordPress (2) Understanding pages, posts and creating your homepage. This second session is a little more advanced, and for people who perhaps would like to make the most of their website.
Thursday 02 November, 12.00pm – 2.00pm
WordPress (3) Building your other pages, security and essential plugins (speed, seo). This is a perfect third session, follow on from WordPress 1 and 2, however, you are more than welcome to come along to this third session if you use WordPress often.
Come along to learn more, or practise old skills and to meet other PPN members from both Dublin City PPN and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown PPN.
The Carmichael facilitators are: Fiona Walsh and Sean Fahey and all sessions are FREE to PPN members.
