Smart Dublin Advisory Network

Smart Dublin is an initiative of the four Dublin local authorities to engage with smart technology providers, researchers and citizens to solve city challenges and improve city life. Smart Dublin are looking for one community representative from each of the four Dublin PPN’s to represent the community voice on their advisory network.

Smart Dublin is delivering a programme that encourages the creation of solutions to address city needs. It has an emphasis on using the opportunities offered by emerging technology and public data. Smart Dublin has identified mobility, environment, energy, waste and emergency management as priority challenges. Further information about the initiative is available on: www.smartdublin.ie
Meetings are bi-annually however, there will be surveys and communications during the year through e-mail and Linkedin.

Role of the PPN Representative:

  • Attends and participates at the committee they were elected to.
  • Represents the views and concerns of members to the relevant policy committee
  • Represents all the members of the PPN and not just their own group
  • Feeds back to the PPN membership through reports, presentations and meetings (linkage meetings)
