PPN May Plenary

When

We would like to invite you to the May Plenary, on 25 May, from 6.30pm – 8.30pm, at Trinity Comprehensive School, Ballymun (in the gymnasium behind the school. come down the side of Ballymun Garda Station (turn left after if, if coming off the M50) and enter by the side gate).

Three PPN Member Groups use the school as their meeting point: Ballymun Book Exchange, Ballymun Scouts and Ballymun Health and Fitness.

Introduction to the evening from Adrienne Boyle

Member Group, The Latvian Society in Ireland mixed voice choir “eLVē”, will open the Plenary with two songs.

A welcome from Ballymun Health and Fitness, and an update from the PPN Secretariat (including the ratification of the edited and reviewed PPN policies and procedures, which were presented at the November Plenary).

Divide into the three pillars/colleges to discuss the work of the PPN in detail, with a group facilitator.

Group one: Voluntary and Community Pillar to work with facilitator Kevin Delaney

Group two: Environmental Pillar to work with facilitator Stephen Rourke

Group three: Social Inclusion Pillar to work with facilitator Clare O’Connor

Group four: the online, virtual attendees will make a fourth group, (facilitator to be confirmed).

This activity was suggested during the “how to” manual training in February and each group will be asked to discuss questions and provide comments on the core work of the PPN.

Peter Clarke, from Member Group the Bealtaine Writers will share a poem or two, to close our Plenary
