General News

Our colleagues at Seniorline are looking for premises.  More specifically, they are looking for two desks where they can deliver their services to older people.  If you have space for two desks, in your organisation, and you would like to offer these resources to Seniorline, please email Damian.

Dublin Fire Brigade would like to ask PPN members to share the following information with their contacts:  in order to be ready for a fire, fire alarms must be checked regularly, to ensure they are working.  To this end, we also have a number of free smoke alarms for groups and organisations, and if you are interested in receiving free fire alarms for your premises, please contact Keith Brunkard via Ruth or Beatriz.

The Local Government Management Agency (LGMA) would like to facilitate a focus group discussion with people who do NOT use library services.  If you DO NOT use the library services in Dublin, and would like to discuss why you do not use these services, please contact Ruth or Beatriz for further information about this online focus group discussion.
