Updates from the Secretariat and Representatives
The Secretariat of Dublin City PPN will meet for their monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of every month, beginning in January 2025 up to December 2025. Your can access the list of Secretariat members, PPN Representatives and thematic group members here.
The core objective of the PPN is to help member groups participate more in local authority decision making and to that end, the PPN has 30 seats, held by 28 people. There are five seats on the Local Community Development Committee (LCDC), fifteen seats across seven Strategic Policy Committees (SPCs), one on the Joint Policing Committee (JPC), and all this is steered by a nine-person Secretariat. You can read more about these committees here. It is our hope, in 2025, to establish three working groups to connect the wider PPN to the representatives; and we hope to open up one group for each pillar (community and voluntary, social inclusion and environmental).
