New Members’ Meet-Up : an introduction to the PPN on the last Tuesday of the month

When

25/03/2025 19:00 – 20:00

Target Audience

This one hour, online, session is for new PPN member groups, or people who have been members of the PPN for a while, but would like to find out more about its core work and objectives.

Outline

What are the three main objectives of the PPN? How can you get involved? Where is the best “bit” of the PPN for you, and how can you come along to events and training sessions without it taking up too much of your spare time?

Outcomes

Participants should leave with a better understanding of:

  • The three main objectives of the PPN
  • What the Strategic Policy Committees (SPCs) and the PPN thematic groups?

Methodology

Informally through Zoom

Ruth Powell and Siobhán O’Shea

Ruth and Siobhán are the administration staff of the PPN, and will talk you through a short powerpoint presentation about the core objectives of the PPN, and how you can get involved. There will be a short introduction part of the session, where those who want to, can tell the group a little bit about their member groups. And towards the end of the session, Ruth and Siobhán will give you the next three of four dates of PPN events and training sessions, so that you can pop them into your diaries. This is meant to be a short introduction and snapshot of the PPN, and is hopefully warm and inviting.
