Updates from PPN Representatives, and Secretariat
Dublin City PPN is a network of community, voluntary, social inclusion and environmental groups in Dublin City and it has three main aims:
- to share information,
- to offer capacity building training,
- and to support the PPN Representatives who sit on Dublin City Council committees.
We share information via our weekly Bulletin, social media and attendance at meetings, launches, and events.
We offer FREE capacity building training during the spring, summer and autumn and we cover a wide range of topics.
And we currently have 20 PPN Representatives on 7 strategic policy committees (SPCs), and the Local Community Development Committee (LCDC). These representatives were nominated and elected from their pillars of community and voluntary, social inclusion and environment.
The PPN is steered or directed by a Secretariat of nine people, again nominated and elected by their pillars.
There are five internal groups: the pillar working groups, a disability thematic group and a migrant thematic group.
…and there are two members of staff.
All the member groups have one thing in common: they all wish to improve the quality of life, for the people who live, work, study and visit Dublin City. And the PPN is a place where they try to do this.
Please get in touch, if you would like more information about the core work, if you would like to share anything in our weekly Bulletin or if you have any general suggestions or recommendations.
We look forward to hearing from you.
