Dublin City Council (DCC) invite PPN member groups to browse through the latest edition of the Dublin City focused Fundingpoint Digest, for information and circulation with the other people in your groups and networks. You can access the February/March edition here.
The Department of Rural and Community Development and Gaeltacht (DRCDG), through the Dublin City Local Community Development Committee (LCDC), and Dublin City Council invites PPN member groups to apply through its Local Enhancement Programme (LEP) 2026. You can find out more about the criteria and deadline of the LEP, here.
Some council grants request your PPN Registration number, in the application form. You can find your PPN Registration number here.
Art Link Share: Art Link Share, is a new free-to-use online platform, that supports the sharing of skills, materials, and equipment among individuals, groups, and community organisations across Ireland. The platform is built by its members who share their resources to help each other develop and produce creative projects and community projects, form peer-to-peer exchange networks, and collaborate locally while contributing to a growing national sharing infrastructure: you can find out more about Art Link Share here.
Training
Dublin City PPN and Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown PPN are organising general training for PPN member groups, from both PPNs and you can find out more on the Events Section of the PPN website here. These FREE, online support sessions are available to all PPN members, and the topics being covered in this series are: the Circular Economy, Creating Sustainable Communities, How to use your phone to make video reels and Practical Steps for Funding Applications.
DCU in the Community invite you to “Climate Fiction: the stories we tell”. Learn how to navigate a world of climate change through fiction. Join this class to engage in some lively debates about climate change, the relevance of literature, and much more. Thursdays from 10.00am – 12.00pm from 05 March – 09 April. The Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration invite PPN member groups to complete a national online community safety survey. You can do that here Community Safety is about people being safe and feeling safe in their own community and the National Office for Community Safety would like to make every corner of Ireland a better, safer, more peaceful place for everyone.
Updates From the Secretariat and Representatives
The Mobility and Public Realm Strategic Policy Committee (SPC) will meet on Wednesday 11 February 2026, at 3.00pm. Your PPN Representatives are Dr Robbie Sinnott, and Zoe Baker. Item 7b, on the draft agenda of this meeting, is a motion put forward by Dr Robbie Sinnott. The PPN Secretariat meet for monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of each month. Minutes from previous meetings are uploaded to the website, once agreed. You can access the minutes from previous Secretariat meetings here.

The PPN is network of nearly a thousand environment, community and voluntary and social inclusion groups and networks. The main aim of the PPN is to help these groups participate more in local authority decision making. To this end, the PPN has 20 seats on the Dublin City Council Strategic Policy Committees (SPCs) and the Local Community Development Committee (LCDC), and groups are there to participate on behalf of their pillars.
