News from/about the PPN Representatives and Secretariat

Dublin City PPN has been asked to develop its Vision for Community Wellbeing.

This framework will help Dublin City PPN Member Groups, Representatives and Secretariat make policy decisions and plan activities.  The Vision for Community Wellbeing is divided into six sections, that asks PPN stakeholders what is needed, as a community, to achieve a better quality of life.

The six sections are:

  1. Health (physical and mental)
  2. Economy and Resources
  3. Social, Community and Development
  4. Participation, Democracy and Good Governance
  5. Values, Culture and Meaning
  6. Environment and Sustainability

To find out what Member Groups, Representatives and Secretariat think about the Vision of Community Wellbeing, we have invited Caillum Hedderman, to facilitate three sessions.

Caillum is the Climate Action, BioDiversity and Environmental Strategic Policy Committee (SPC) Representative in Limerick PPN, and he has also facilitated Vision for Community Wellbeing sessions for South Dublin County PPN.

Caillum will facilitate the following three sessions:

Tuesday 08 November:  Community and Voluntary College/Pillar

7.00pm – 8.30pm Macro Community Resource Centre (refreshments provided).

Wednesday 09 November:  Social Inclusion College/Pillar

7.00pm – 8.30pm Macro Community Resource Centre (refreshments provided).

Thursday 10 November:  Environment College/Pillar

7.00pm – 8.30pm Online Zoom Session

A draft of the sessions will be shared ahead of the November Plenary on 24 November at the Rediscovery Centre, in Ballymun from 7.00pm – 8.30pm for comments and further suggestions, and a final draft will be posted onto the website in early January 2023.
