Happy New Year to our PPN member groups, our PPN Representatives, our Secretariat, our host (Dublin City Volunteer Centre) and our colleagues in Dublin City Council and the Department of Rural and Community Development.
We hope that you had a restful and enjoyable break and are looking forward to the year ahead.
The PPN has much planned for 2026, and we hope that you will get involved in some of our activities. We will be developing and delivering some wonderful training programmes, we will be organising two plenaries (in May and November), and we will be supporting our excellent PPN Representatives in their work, on the Strategic Policy Committees (SPCs), within Dublin City Council.
Please do share the bulletins with other people in your networks and groups, and please do come along to our online and in-person meetings and training sessions.
You are always welcome to come along to the “New Members Meet-Up: an introduction to the PPN on the last Tuesday of the month”, to learn all about the PPN. It doesn’t matter if you’re new, or not so new – this one hour, online, general introduction session is for member groups that have recently joined the PPN. But the session is also for people who would like a refresher or reminder about the core work of the PPN. Our next New Members Meet-Up is on Tuesday 27 January, from 7.00pm – 8.00pm and you can email Siobhán for the zoom link. ()
All are welcome.
There’s plenty of work to be done, but for the moment, let’s enjoy the beginning of the new year.
We wish you health, wellness and happiness.
We hope to see you soon.
