PPN Bulletin

Congratulations to all the newly elected and re-elected Councillors of Dublin City Council.  The Dublin City Public Participation Network (PPN) looks forward to working with the new (and re-elected) Councillors through committees and working groups, to improve the quality of life for those who live in, work in, study in and visit Dublin City.

You can see the full list of all 63 councillors here

In the next short while, Dublin City Council will contact the PPN and request representation on committees and working groups. The PPN will send out official nomination forms to all members.  If the correct number of people are nominated, they will be deemed elected:  if more people are nominated than there are seats for, we will have elections using the soft wear, Election Buddy.

Please email Ruth on if you would like more information about representing the PPN at the council.

At the moment we are making an informal list of those who might be interested.

Goodbye and good luck, to our Support Worker, Rachel Merriman who leaves the PPN this week.  Rachel has worked tirelessly to administer the work of the PPN and we wish her all the very best in her new adventures.  Rachel originally joined the PPN in November 2022 and she will be very missed by member groups, Representatives, thematic groups and staff!  Goodbye Rachel and thank you for everything.

The PPN is now recruiting for a new support worker:  you can find all the details for the role, including the role description, salary details, and application process here.
