Trinity-led LEVERS project, invite you to a workshop on 27 July, at the Neill Theatre, Trinity Long Room from 2.00pm – 4.00pm, or on 24 August, from 11.00am – 1.00pm in Unit 18, at Trinity in the Community. These workshops invite you to learn more about the project, and share views on climate justice.

All Together in Dignity invite you to a “Festival of Change” on 26 July, from 1.00pm – 4.00pm at Mud Island Garden. This is an afternoon to bring together different community groups to celebrate positive community action, through an art exhibition, music, conversations and festivities for all the family.
Killester Garden Village Committee invite you to their Centenary Community Day on 26 August, in the Killester Garden Village at 12.00pm The Killester Garden Village Book will be launched on the day, by Minister for Housing Darragh O’Brien TD.
The Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media invite you to apply for the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme (SCEP) grant. This grant assists in the development of refurbishment of sports facilities and the provision of sports equipment. Further information about what this covers, and how to apply here.
The Local Community Grant and Informal Adult Education Grant for 2023 is now open for applications and will be open until 18 August. You can find out if you meet the criteria for these grants here. We would also suggest that you email or for help with filling out the application forms.
Training Opportunities
Dublin Northwest Partnership are offering a Grant Writing Workshop, on Thursday 7 September at Cabra Parkside Community Complex from 11.30am onwards. This workshop will provide details of the information required for grant applications. You will have an opportunity to ask questions and get support with your grant application. Further details here.
Updates for the Representatives and Secretariat (only)
Ellenora Lynch will facilitate training on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 September, for the elected PPN representatives and Secretariat. This is the “how to 2” training, which follows on from the “how to” training in February, for elected SPC, LCDC, JPC representatives and Secretariat. Ellenora will update the group since February, offer further suggestions on how to make the most of the representative role, and give time to guest speakers and networking in the room. Places are limited to 15 in person and 5 online and places will be allocated to those who can come for the two days, first.

The PPN National Conference will take place in the Arklow Bay Conference, Leisure and Spa Hotel on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th October. Dublin City PPN has six places and we would like to send delegates from all sections of the PPN: from the different pillars/thematic groups/Secretariat and staff.
