PPN Bulletin – Election Special

We would like to thank everyone for getting involved in the recent nominations for the four vacant seats across committees and Secretariat.

The three nominated candidates for the seats on the Secretariat are:

Ernie Beggs, Steven Doody and Catherine O’Toole.

According to the PPN Handbook (2020), “if the same number of valid nominations as available seats is received, the nominee (s), will be deemed elected (p. 44).

Therefore, congratulations to the three selected candidates who are now members of the Secretariat.

However, as we received four nominations for one role as Planning and Urban Form representative, we need to hold an online election.  In order to keep the integrity of the secret ballot and still be able to facilitate an online election, we are going to use the soft wear Election Buddy, which has been suggested by other PPNs throughout the country.  You will receive an email on Monday, giving you more information about the four candidates and explaining the online process in detail.

Many thanks for participating in the process.
