Nominations are open

Our friend and colleague, Ann Marie Ellison, has stepped down from her responsibilities on the Secretariat.  Consequently, there is a place on the Secretariat available, and information about the role and the nominations process is here

We wish Ann Marie all the very best and thank her for her service to the PPN.

Last Thursday of the Month Members’ Meet-Up

Many thanks to those who came along to our last Thursday of the Month Members Meet-Up, last night on zoom.  This is going to be a regular event, so please keep the last Thursday of the month free. 

The next meeting will be on 31 March (guest speaker to be confirmed).

Changes to the PPN Handbook (2020).

The department has issued a circular to update the PPN Handbook (2020), and you can read the update here.  This update refers to a previous guideline, and this has been updated with immediate effect.

Community Grants and Funding

Dublin City Council have a webpage full of information and updates on the available funds and grants from the council and  you can access that page here.  Meanwhile, the Wheel’s Funding Point can be accessed here.

Minutes and notes from meetings

The Disability Thematic Group met on Tuesday 21 February and agreed the minutes from their last meeting held on 13 December.  The group would like to share their minutes with you here

Training and courses

Applications are open for SDG advocate training with Development Perspectives, for adult and community educators.  The closing date for applications is 25 February, and you can find out more about the programme and process here.
