Planning SPC Linkage Group
The Planning SPC Linkage Group met for the first time on zoom on Wednesday 24 February. If you would like to join this linkage group, let us know, and we will include you in the emails and invite to the next meeting, in one month’s time.
Environment SPC Updates
If you would like updates from the environment SPC, send us an email and we will forward you the documents. We hope to start an environment linkage group soon, but until then, please let us know if you are interested and we will forward the documents we have.
PPN Logo
If you have re-registered as a member of the PPN, we would love you to carry our logo on your website and social media sites. If you would like a copy of the logo, please email us and request one, and we will send you one.
Mansion House and Oak Room Accessibility Consultation
Dublin City Council would like to continue to consult with members of the PPN about the physical accessibility to the Mansion House and Oak room. A meeting will take place with Dublin City Council sometime after 08 March, and we have been asked to compile a list of interested people. If you would like to be involved in this meeting, please let us know and we will add you to the list.
Focus group participants to discuss the next Local Economic and Community Plan (LECP)
The Department of Rural and Community Development are looking for two participants to join a focus group discussion on Tuesday 09 March.
The focus group will examine the current guidelines on Local Economic and Community Plans with *particular reference* to lessons learned from implementing current LECPs and support the development of a revised comprehensive set of guidelines for the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of new Local Economic and Community Plans (LECPs).
If you are interested, please email us with a short expression of interest, which we will forward to the Department, by 03 March.

WISE
WISE are looking for participants to take part in research to discover how the pandemic has affected the lives of older people. WISE are looking for people who are 65 or older, and who currently live Ireland. More information on this research here.

Covid-19 Emergency Fund Information
The second round of the Covid-19 Emergency Fund has been launched by the Department of Rural and Community Development. A total of €117, 246 has been allocated to Dublin City Council and online applications for this funding are now being welcomed.
Grants of between €1000 – €5000 will be made available and the deadline for applications is Friday 26th February 2021.
