Nominations open for SPC and LCDC seats

All fifteen seats on the seven Strategic Policy Committees and all three seats on the Local Community Development Committee are open for nominations.

2024 SPC nominations

For the 2024 SPC elections a total of 15 seats are up for nominations in all seven SPCs. Some of these are limited to a specific pillar, others are open to all pillars. Please find the list below:

  • Community, Gaeilge, Sport, Arts and Culture – two seats from either the Community or Social Inclusion Pillar
  • Climate Action and Urban Resilience – one seat from the Environmental Pillar and one seat for either the Community or Social Inclusion Pillar.
  • Economic, Development & Enterprise – two seats from any Pillar.
  • Finance – two seats from any Pillar.
  • Housing and Social Inclusion – three seats in total, two from Social Inclusion and one from the Community Pillar.
  • Planning and Urban Regeneration – one seat for the Environmental Pillar and one seat for either the Community or Social Inclusion Pillar.
  • Mobility and Public Realm – one seat for the Social Inclusion Pillar and one seat for the Community Pillar.

2024 LCDC Nominations

All three seats on the LCDC are up for nominations. Each pillar has one seat on this committee.

Please fill out the form on the nominations page with your details. The deadline for submissions is the 22nd of September 2024.
