University College Dublin (UCD) Doctoral Candidate, Nicole Lanphier, invite PPN member groups to get involved in research which seeks to identify how emotional and rational drivers of trust relate to inform judgements about the trustworthiness of planning systems. The public consultation on the Significant Water Management Issues (SWAN), for Ireland’s fourth-cycle Water Action Planis now open, with a submission deadline of5pm on Friday 19 June. This is an important opportunity to influence the issues that will shape Ireland’s next Water Action Plan and the measures needed to restore and protect rivers, lakes, estuaries, coastal waters and groundwater under the Water Framework Directive. The Health Service Executive (HSE) are seeking Expression of Interests for the Dublin and Midlands Regional Partnership Council. Public Partner roles are strategic, voluntary positions, bringing patient and service user partners together with senior health service leaders to advise on delivery of health and social care services in the region. This month’s Anam Cara parents meeting will take place on Wednesday 24th June 2026 in the Hilton Hotel, Northern Cross, Malahide Road, Dublin 13 at 7.30pm. Anam Cara supports parents after bereavement. Anam Cara offers information, resources, practical advice, links to professional organisations and services in general for parents and their extended families.
Building Safer Communities (preventing and reducing alcohol harm) are conducting a survey and would be very keen for PPN member groups, based near Bluebell, Inchicore and Rialto to respond. You can read more about Building Safer Communities and take the survey here.

Fundraising and Grants Information
Dublin City Council’s (DCC) Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) and The Wheel, provide local community and voluntary not-for-profit groups in Dublin City with access to three great resources: The Funding Point Local Digest; The Wheel’s Fundraising Guidance Library and The Wheel’s Fundraising helpdesk. Carmichael offer in-person and online training sessions about funding, fundraising and grant writing. For example: Digital Fundraising for Non-Profits, Sources of Funding for Non-Profits, Grant Applications. You can see a full list of supports and resources from Carmichael here.
The Wheel invite you to browse the Access Europe website, here, which is your one-stop-shop for all EU Funding. You can access the information about the different EU Funding streams, news and events, an e-learning hub and look through a partner database. Why not find an Irish organisation, that has accessed EU funding, and invite them for a chat and coffee, to find out more about the process?
St Patrick’s Cathedral invite PPN member groups to apply for its Charitable and Community Fund, which is open now. The fund is available for groups who assist people who struggle with alcohol and drugs. Updates from the PPN Representatives and the PPN Secretariat
The Secretariat met for its monthly online meeting on Tuesday 09 June and they proposed and agreed the minutes for the May meeting, which you can read here.
The Social Inclusion Pillar Working Group met on 16 June, online and you will be able to catch up with any comments or decisions made at that meeting, in next week’s Bulletin. The pillar working groups are currently being facilitated by Clare Cuthbert.
