Nominations
The PPN shares information and training opportunities so that PPN member groups might get more involved in local authority decision making. To that end, we have 5 vacant PPN Representative roles open for nominations: 3 on the Secretariat, 1 on the LCDC and 1 on the Planning and Urban Realm SPC – all from the Environment Pillar. General Information
Dublin City Council (DCC), invite PPN member groups to get involved in research into arts and cultural provisions in the Finglas area, which would include artists workspaces, venues, consideration of underutilised buildings in Finglas for cultural events, and further feasibility testing. Please complete the survey here.
The PPN host, Dublin City Volunteer Centre (DCVC) are looking for volunteers to help the Community Volunteers Programme at Bloom Festival in Pheonix Park from 28 May – 01 June. Dublin City Volunteer Centre (DCVC) provides a range of support services to PPN member groups to help them effectively recruit, manage, and retain volunteers. DCVC also offer one-to-one advisory support to help organisations set up or improve their volunteer programmes, including guidance on role design, onboarding, retention, and overall volunteer management. Colm and Nina from the Organisational Development team will be at the PPN Summer Networking Event on 21 May, and you can meet them there and find out more about how they can help you work with volunteers.
